<Preparing for a Trip Abroad>

 

BBC has chosen and announced 50 cities in the world that people must visit before they die. Most people dream of traveling to other countries and visit other cities or attractions. As a university student, I dream of backpacking abroad alone. Traveling abroad needs precise preparation because people might get into trouble if they don't prepare enough documents or requirements. Before people set out on a trip, there are some important steps preparing for a trip abroad.

 

Most importantly, people have to get a passport at least a month before the trip. To make a passport, people have to take passport photos. Then, they should bring the photo with other documents such as identification card or family certificate, etc. to the city hall, or other government office that does business for passport. People might have to be issued a visa if needed. Each country has different ways to issue a visa, so people have to be cautious.

 

In addition, people have to exchange cash, and prepare a credit card. Before the departure, exchanging enough cash is important. People have to go to a foreign exchange bank, and exchange cash according to the exchange rate. Then, for the unexpected situations like they don't have enough money, it's a good idea to prepare a credit card that is usable in foreign countries. Also, they have to prepare a spare credit card just in case they lose it. If people don't have money, there should be many restrictions, so it's important they prepare enough money.

 

Finally, people have to prepare a nice camera. People can't remember everything they saw on their trip. Taking pictures and keeping them is a best way to remember the joyful memory they made during the trip. If people can afford a nice camera, they can take better pictures, but it is not necessary. It's better if they can bring a laptop and a USB to store the pictures.

These are the factors that I consider as important steps when people prepare for a trip abroad. People have to prepare a passport, cash or credit card, and a camera if it's affordable. To make a good trip, preparing for it is an important process.
