Kim, Doyeon/TV/Tue 9am

A few dacades ago, television was an indispensible tool in entertaining ourselves. However, if i am asked
a question now whether i could live without it, my answer will be yes. Above all, there are many entertaining devices or gadgets
other than television nowadays, such as the internet or smart phones. We can watch various shows or movies and listen
to the music using those at any time. We do not need to be stuck with the fixed timetable and we can enjoy whatever we want
at any time we would like to. Besides, when we have a television set around us, it is more likely to keep watching it without self-comtrol, which often deprives the quality time for ourselves or with family members. It is undeniable it also causes health issues such as obesity or cardiovascular diseases due to sedentary and imactive lifestyle. As a conclusion, I could live on without television around me as I would be able to find alternatives for entertainment and keeping a distance from the television has definitely certain benefits.

  1. I see your argument simple and well-explained.
No disturbing or unclear sentences I couldn't find.
However, a question occurred to me in the second reason.
You said, now you can live without the tube because there are enough alternatives, especially which can connect you to things you want at any time, and at the second reason, you said about the tube causing lack of self-control, but won't the alternatives you can enjoy wherever you are have rather more addictive aspects than TV in your home?

and i think it will better if you write more in details why smartphone or the internet is better than TV.
